HMAS SYDNEY III 'Vung Tau Ferry'

Made for the Australian War Memorial for their new Vietnam exhibition which opened in 2007. This waterline display model depicts the ship off-loading in the harbor circa 1970. Images taken at the time where used to accurately portray the scenes taking part on the deck and in the water.
This creation tells a powerful story of Australians heading to War.

The model is in full detail at 1:96 scale and is 2.5 meters long. We are proud to announce that it has a 'National Collection Item Number' and that we are now accredited by the AWM to make models of superior quality and detail.
